One of the ways we do this is by offering fixed fees
Unusually in the trade mark and design registration industry our fees are fixed. Most specialist firms will charge on the basis of an hourly rate in addition to certain set fees for carrying out specific tasks. The estimates provided by these firms for work undertaken will go up and down depending on the amount of time actually spent doing the work.
Our fixed fees are all included in our tariff. If we don’t have a set fee in place for a particular service, which is probably due to the varying complexity of the issue when it arises, then we will provide you with a guaranteed quotation.
The fixed fee and guaranteed quotation charging structure at Maze means you will always be aware of how much we are charging you so there will be no nasty hidden surprises further down the track.
Attorneys
All our trade mark attorneys are supported by a state of the art intellectual property management system, highly trained administration staff and a friendly receptionist.
We have UK & EU qualified trade mark attorneys with extensive experience in private practice– acting on behalf of sole traders and large blue chip companies alike, as well as experience of working within in-house legal departments.
Working in private-practice has given our attorneys a wealth of experience in all industry sectors but Maze considers itself to have specialist knowledge of the pharmaceutical, telecommunications, tobacco, food & drink, games, retailing, medical supplies, clothing & packaging industries in particular.
